The Bury Outdoor Pursuits Centre is a fully fitted centrally-heated stone Hostel amongst the dis-used mines of Greenside, near Glenridding, with views overlooking one of the longest lakes in the Lake District, Ullswater. The Bury Hostel is available for hire by groups wishing to explore the Lake District. It is self-catering with a modern catering kitchen, and has bunk beds accomodating up to 28 people, with extra provision for up to 2 disabled persons. The nearest village, Glenridding, is on the shores of Ullswater, in the North Eastern quarter of the Lake District.
